Giallo Films is proud to announce that 'Nightmares' has won its first award for 'Best Music Score' at the Cinema Edge Awards in the US.

Now available.... LA International Short Film Festival 2004 gallery. Photos taken at the Festival, 7-13 th September 2004. Ward's short film shocker 'Nightmares' was official selected for the competition. The film was shown at 10.15pm on 8th September as part of the 'Journey into Dark Souls' section.

Also available, photos from the Sitges Film Festival 2000, when Ward's action feature film 'Sudden Fury' was shown.

Ward stayed in the city of Barcelona with one of the film's Producers, John Mulholland, and also met up with the Spanish Distributor of 'Sudden Fury', Javier Perea - Imagen D.E.A.T.H. At the time Ward was also pitching his script for 'Insurrection' (zombie action film.)

Horror channel plans to show Ward's new short shocker 'Nightmares', in spring 05 as part of their short movie season. More news to follow.

Ward starts work on his new feature script which will be a brutal and bloody giallo, working title 'Passion'. Ward states "even the most hardened viewers will find this hard to watch without closing their eyes". Script should be completed by Spring 05.

Back from the LA Internation Short Film festival and, unfortunately, no awards for 'Nightmares'. However, plans have been made for a future showing of 'Nightmares' at another LA short film festival. More news to follow.

'Nightmares', a new short film by Darren Ward has been officially selected to screen at the LA International Short Film Festival 2004.

The film will be screened on 8 September 2004 at the Arclight Cinema, Hollywood, LA. Screening starts at 10.15pm.
